Hi there, I'm Karen Wilding

Looking at these photos, would you believe that becoming a Maths consultant was NEVER on my radar...
I began life as: A 'Maths hater' and 'Maths failure'
Then later I became: A teacher, senior leader, local authority Maths adviser and curriculum writer and trainer

What Happened?
It turns out that the problem wasn't Maths and it wasn't me; it was simply the way I'd been taught.

This journey took me decades, I was scared stiff a lot of the time and I navigated it almost totally alone.
